Heavy Duty
Standard
seals consist of the shaft seal which is a lip
seal or an o-ring with a backup ring for the HD
and MD series cylinders, and an o-ring and backup
for the LD series cylinders. The standard piston
seal for all series cylinders consists of an o-ring
with two backup rings. Special seals, such as
piston u-cups, slipper seals, special compounds,
chevron, steel rings etc., are available upon
request.

MD Series
-- 3000 PSI Medium Duty
HD, MD,
and LD series cylinder barrels are cold drawn,
electric welded, honed tubing, and roller burnished
to perfect concentricity. Shafting is hard chrome
plated 1141 or 1045 steel. Standard clevises are
3/8" or 1/2" hot rolled steel (welded
to shaft) or adjustable cast steel.
